Mould for water buket cap
Cover mold generally has 8 cavities, 12 cavities and 16 cavities. There can be more.
The key difficulty is the thickness of the wall, so ejection is difficult after cooling.
In particular, the easy-to-water cover is easy to crack when the machine is ejected.
Therefore, the precision of the mold is required to be high.
How to choose the machine for producing 3/5 gallon water bottle caps?
180-ton injection molding machine is selected for cold runner 8 cavities
220-ton machine is selected for hot runner mold 8 cavities
Why are there different machine options for the same 8-cavity mold?
The main reason is die thickness. Hot runner die thickness will increase due to runner plate and cooling water path
The mold is relatively thick and needs 460mm at least. It is better to achieve 500mm.
However, the mold thickness of cold runner mold is generally less than 400mm, so a smaller 180 machine can be selected.
