There are so many different types of crates on the market that many customers often come to us asking about the different production processes for the various frames.

For example, light fruit frames for seasonal fresh fruit and vegetable transport, or heavy duty crates for robustness and durability.

Disposable type

Like:Vegetable plastic crate,fruit crates, Bread crate,beverage crates, pharmaceutical packaging boxes, postal packaging boxes, postal packaging boxes, pluggable crates

The general material is (PP).
Injection moulded in one go.
The weight of the fruit crate is light.
It has good ductility, impact resistance, high tensile strength.
In addition to this, the product also has good cache shock resistance, high stiffness, excellent bending characteristics and other quality physical properties,.
The material can be recycled for multiple use, the recycling loss rate is low, the cost is relatively low.

Reusable - Heavy duty thickened type

Like:Nestable crate,plastic shelf bin,flame-retardant crates, anti-static crates, conductive crates, parts crates, instrument crates, pesticide crates, inner packaging of precision instruments, pharmaceutical packaging boxes, electronic components packaging pads, partitions, etc., fruit crates (thickened type), insertable crates, insertable crates, foldable crates, beverage crates (thickened type)

generally made of high-density low-security polyethylene (HDPE) (PP).
Injection moulded in one go, high strength, good low temperature impact resistance, good stress crack resistance, good chemical resistance, ageing resistance, long service life, good wear resistance, good flexibility, low water flow resistance.
materials can be recycled for multiple use, low recycling loss rate, slightly higher cost compared to disposable crates.

How to produce the Disposable type crates/boxes

Step 1: Design the appearance of the Crate

Step 3: Install the mold to the injection molding machine and adjust the mold
Step 4: add raw materials, heating
Step 5: Machine parameter setting
Step 6: Test production
Step 7:After Stabilization, Fully Automatic Production

If you are new to the production of crate products, perhaps a lightweight disposable crate is the right choice for you, and our HCK range is more than adequate for this purpose. We have used the HCK230 to produce 250*150*20 fruit collection frames in our previous projects and the HCK310 for 400*300*20 frames weighing 400g and similar food totes, which are characterised by short cycle times and high production volumes. PP material has good toughness, but slightly poor strength

If you are already well versed in the field of crates and have higher requirements for your product quality and output, we have a higher configuration HCK-SG series of crates for the production of reusable (thicker type) baskets, which are heavier and require higher technical requirements for the production machinery, we have developed a heavy duty frame production model for these products, which continues the HCK We have developed a heavy-duty frame production machine for this type of product, which continues the classic design platform of HCK, but with a highly efficient plasticising assembly, specially designed to cope with the characteristics of HDPE material, with highly wear-resistant injection moulding parts and easily replaceable nozzles, which can be used for a wide range of frame sizes.
